I have Burnout Paradise, Soul Calibur 4, and Mirror's Edge for PS3. I plan on selling these games soon unless one of you folks want them. Furthermore, I am still alive.

Usually I post these up at the beginning of the month, or whenever I changeover, but I've been a little lazy preoccupied and haven't gotten around to it until now. So the theme I've been using for May is kinda greenish blue. I've used this color before in a theme I haven't published before though. I figure May was a nice time to bring it back. Anyhoo while the background and widgets are the greenish blue, the windows and borders of most things are black and a light blue, a color I'm going to reuse again, trust me. I really like it. Speaking of, I picked up Soul Calibur 4 for 2.99. Best Buy is having a sticker sale all this week for 10 dollar games.
The month is almost over and I don't have my desktop design done. I'll do that today. Promise. PROMISE.

5 months later and it still hurts.
I honestly don't know why people glamorize the ghetto lifestyle. It's not glamorous. It's not cool and it's not fun. I spent my life avoiding that life, and I've done well for myself. But then there are others that have no aspirations to better themselves. No aspirations to become something better.
And then there's this guy here. I cannot send out enough warnings about this link. NSFW would be the weakest one out of the bunch. I would not be surprised if your computer/smartphone caught herpes from that site.
Why do people act like this? Why do others encourage it? Am I alone in thinking that this is far more tragic than someone going on a killing spree?

I bet you all were expecting an April fool's joke yesterday from me. So I did the unexpected and refused to do one. HA! Joke's on you! Anyhoo, Things are going well for me I suppose. I'm alive which is a lot more than I can say for some folks. I did realize that I don't have any sort of sweets left. Someone should send me some cookies. Not going to mention who, but you know who you are.
At least it's a new month, and that means a new desktop design. This one isn't as creative, I admit. But this is a lot of fun. I had an idea in my head to do a theme based on wood. The idea came to me because I got a splinter in my foot walking about the house one day. But also I was pretty taken by the Goggle theme of the teahouse. So I combined the two and this is what came out. ( Click )

So Earth hour is coming up, and I had planned on going totally dark, switching off everything for an hour save the fridge and freezer, but that plan fell through. Instead, All the lights will be off. not that I used them anyway.
As for being bleh, it happens but ya get over it and move on.
I think I've finished my desktop for April, but i'm not gonna show it until I'm absolutely sure of the final look.
I guess this is pretty much a non-entry. Ah well.

It's raining and I feel so sore. Yesterday, I spent the day helping a friend's girlfriend cut away some tree limbs away from her roof. Which means a lot of lifting, climbing, stretching, pulling and reaching. All in all it was a good day, if a little chilly out. I certainly would have waited for a warmer day to do it.
I picked up Lumines Supernova for PS3 and also Noby Noby boy. The latter is an odd thing by the same team behind Katamari Damacy, but magnitudes less fun and orders more pointless. Lumines, however is a beat-rocking puzzle game like Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. It's really fun and challenging to me, since I'm no good at puzzle games. But the music being somewhat integral to the gameplay makes it much more bearable. In other gaming news, I'm still awesome at Street Fighter, have my ups and downs in Call of Duty 4, and get my ass kicked in Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection.
Also: a wingman is a friend you take with you to make you look good in order to score time with a potential mate.

Eddie Money - Take Me Home Tonight (1986) |

Alright, so aside from Street Fighter IV, I picked up this game called Little Big Planet for the PS3. It's a nice little platforming game with the tagline 'Play, Create, Share.' The story takes a few twists and turns, but the best part of the game is that it allows for 4 players. Some areas of the levels do need teamwork to access, and usually have the cooler rewards. Most of the rewards are textures, objects and enemies for Creating your own levels or customizing your PC, called Sackboy. Or Sackgirl. Anyhoo, I've completed the story levels already and enjoyed every bit of it. I've played a few of the user-created levels, and some of those are just as amazing as the stock levels. My only issue is that during the stock levels, I played through them alone so missed out on alot of good stuff.
I suppose I should be more social.
...yeah right.
